Exhibition Histories Talks: Ute Meta Bauer

The first in a series of talks analysing and contextualising exhibitions through the personal accounts of the curators responsible for them. On Thursday 24 January Ute Meta Bauer will be in conversation with Iwona Blazwick, Director of the Whitechapel Gallery.

Each talk will take the form of a focused discussion between a member of the Afterall or Whitechapel Gallery team and the curator of an exhibition or series of exhibitions. To start the series, Ute Meta Bauer will reflect upon three exhibitions: ‘?’, her section of the exhibition ‘NowHere’ at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk (1996), ‘Architectures of Discourse’ at the Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Barcelona (2001) and her recent exhibition at n.b.k. Berlin, ‘The Future Archive’ (2012).
