We are pleased to announce the third in our series of talks analysing and contextualising exhibitions through the personal accounts of the curators responsible, co-organised with the Whitechapel Gallery in London. On Thursday 19 September 2013 Guy Brett will be in conversation with Whitechapel’s archive curator Nayia Yiakoumaki.

Each talk takes the form of a focused discussion between a member of the Afterall or Whitechapel Gallery team and the curator of an exhibition or series of exhibitions. Guy Brett and Nayia Yiakoumaki will address questions about the seminal 1969 exhibition ‘Hélio Oiticica: Whitechapel Experience’, which conceived the gallery as a ‘total environment’, offering the spectator a series of sensorial encounters.
