Ecologies of Art Publishing
Ecologies of Art Publishing, the three-day programme of public talks, symposiums and book launches ran between 12 October and 14 October 2022, questions what it means to think of publishing as a scene of relation, invention, inquiry and coproduction, an event of knowledge and art making, and a complex ecology of practices.
On the second day (13 October) of the programme, Afterall editors David Morris and Wing Chan joined the on-site talks ‘To Research Publishing’ via Zoom and introduced Exhibition Histories book series. Other speakers on the day included Rose Brander (PARSE on CITATION), Sarah Tuck (Advance Preview of Drone Vision ), Eva Weinmayr (From Noun to Verb – the micro-politics of publishing), and Gerrie van Noord (Publications/ing as an intra-active ecology of practices). The session was moderated by Mick Wilson.
