Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London, London.

We are pleased to announce that Nina Power will chair the fifth Afterall Film Club at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design on Thursday 6 December. She will introduce a film of her choice, which will be discussed following its full screening.

Nina Power is a lecturer in Philosophy at Roehampton University and the author of One Dimensional Woman (Zero Books, 2009). She regularly writes for the Guardian and is currently writing about work and notions of the collective subject. She ran an occasional London film club with Owen Hatherley called Kino Fist and is a founding member of Defend the Right to Protest, a campaign group set up in the wake of recent student protests in the UK.

Afterall Film Club is free and takes place eight times a year at CSM’s new building. The first meetings were chaired by Laura Mulvey and Dexter Dalwood. To join the club and book a place email filmclub@afterall.org, on receipt you will be sent a confirmation email with access details.
